Happy Friday, guys! I’m still pretty miserable with this awful cold and have been having contractions off and on since late last night. So let’s hope this weekend brings us a baby! Shae’s mom, step and sister will be over later today for a bbq rib dinner and we are so excited!
ONE: On Saturday, Shae’s mom and little sister were supposed to come visit but his sister woke up really sick! Shae and I weren’t feeling too great either but since it was such a beautiful day, and our last weekend as a family of three, we decided to try and make the most of the day. We went to the store and bought some couch pillows, last minute things for the hospital and ended up leaving with 4 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies!
TWO: Shae and I woke up feeling a lot worse on Sunday, especially me. I was absolutely miserable. But I still wanted to get some fresh air, so we took a walk down to the lake and it was freezing! We stopped at the park on the way home and let Everlee play. She was such a good girl while we were sick. Super thankful her teething was last week and not this week!
THREE: I ordered the girls Easter dresses earlier this week. I think it was Wednesday Target was doing a 25% off sale on dresses. These will be their first matching outfits and I am beyond excited about it! If only they had the dress in my size. 😉 They also have knock off pink Birkenstock’s, so they will wear those as well.
FOUR: I was pretty miserable all week with whatever sickness I had. I won’t lie, we spent a lot of time watching movies and resting. Days or weeks like this make me feel so guilty but I keep trying to remember that I’m almost 40 weeks pregnant and super sick and any day now I’m going to have a newborn baby and things are going to be a lot more hectic. So I just try to soak it all in and stop feeling guilty for extra screen time or relax time. If you haven’t seen my post where I shared the homemade Medicine Ball recipe, go check it out here! It has been a lifesaver for my sore throat and cough and will save you quite a bit of money.
FIVE: Shae and I spontaneously decided to turn Everlee’s crib into a toddler bed. She did amazing on her first night, and has done great since! She actually really loves it. I was a little nervous going into it because it’s a big change, along with having a new baby sister, but she proves us time and time again how adaptable she is. So proud of her!
