Happy Friday, friends! I feel like I am still recovering from Christmas. I swear I woke up the day after Christmas feeling hungover (jokes on me cause I’m pregnant). Finally, I’m feeling like I am recovering!
ONE: Christmas Eve was such a fun day. We really kept it low key but it was great! We had a big breakfast and finished up wrapping gifts, I made a homemade chicken buffalo dip in the crockpot and ended the night eating a bunch of appetizers. After Everlee went to sleep, the boys finished up putting together her play kitchen from Santa and my mom and I put together stockings and set up for Christmas morning.
TWO: Everlee woke up at 7am on the dot, and I got my camera to record her reaction walking out to see what Santa brought her. I am happy I at least got that because my memory card filled up while we opened stockings so I didn’t get any footage the rest of the day! Anyway, expect a more detailed post about Christmas Day coming next week, but it was a perfect day.
THREE: A few of my favorite gifts I got this year were a hard drive, lights for my videos and pictures, gift cards, these new winter boots pictured above, and some warm coats! I am especially thrilled because I will put them to good use next year when we move to Alaska.
FOUR: Here is my Instagram Top Nine from 2018! It has been such a perfect year with my little family. We had camping trips, Everlee had many milestones, we found out we were pregnant again, celebrated Everlee’s first birthday, found out baby #2 was another baby girl, and ended the year spending the holidays with our family for the last time. We are so excited for what is to come in 2019!
FIVE: It is our last weekend here in Oregon before we head back. Shae has to sign back in from leave on the 3rd, so I believe we will be heading home New Years Day so we have some time to get organized. Tonight we are having a prime rib dinner with cheddar garlic biscuits and homemade French fries. We have a busy weekend ahead of us but we’ve really enjoyed our time here. We are getting so excited because the next big thing will be baby #2’s arrival!
