If you have a teacher, friend or just need some last minute Christmas game prize ideas for gifts that can easily be made, look no further! We had a Christmas Party last weekend and we played a lot of Bingo so we needed some cheap prizes that would actually get used. I swung by the dollar tree and picked up stuff to make a DIY Santa sleigh made out of candy.
Glue gun + glue sticks (you can get these for $2.99 at Joanne’s)
Dollar Tree Shopping List:
Small clear treat bags
One box Santa chocolates
One box candy canes
Kit kat bars (I made 5 so I purchased 5)
An assortment of whatever bags of candy you like
- Fill your clear treat bags with an assortment of candy and then use the twisty ties to close the bag. From here I also cut strips of ribbon to tie around the bag to give them a cuter look. This is completely optional!
- Warm up glue gun and glue the candy canes to the kit kat candy bars to form a sleigh and let dry.
- Next, glue down the Santa toy (candy) bags.
- Lastly, glue on the chocolate Santa Claus.
If you’re wanting to add a little something extra to these gifts/treats, you could add a $5 gift card from your place of choosing to make it a little more desirable.
These are so simple and so inexpensive and everyone who won Bingo ate them right on the spot last weekend. They will be a hit!
