26 Week Bumpdate | Baby #2

How far along: 26 weeks!

Baby is the size of a: A butternut squash! She is about 2 pounds at this point. So crazy!

Weight gain: I’ve made it a great habit to not weigh myself in between appointments, so we will just have to wait a few more weeks to see how much more I’ve gained. I was up 13lbs at my 24 week appointment, so let’s all cross our fingers and hope Thanksgiving didn’t get the best of me and I’m up 20. Lol!

Maternity clothes: Yes, yes, yes, yes!

Sleep: I’ve been sleeping great! Some days I want to sleep all day, and other days I wake up feeling like I could conquer the world (but then want to crash at around 2pm). Although, the other night Everlee was up from 1:40am to about 5:30am and I pretty much wanted to die the next morning because she woke up at 7:20 that morning and I was running on 3 hours of sleep all day. Not fun! She has never done that before but all is well again. She slept from 6:30pm to 9am this morning so I think she is still kind of catching up on that missed sleep.

Gender: GIRL! 💗💗💗

Movement: Okay, not sure what happened to my super chill baby in there but she has been kicking like crazy! She was kicking Shae in the head the other night while he was laying on me and it was the cutest and funniest thing. He thinks she kicks way more than Everlee did and I think he is right.

Best moment this week: Just being back home and getting back into the routine of things.

Looking forward to: Getting my glucose test over and done with this coming week and also our date night this weekend!

Food cravings: Brown sugar pop tarts, cold cereal, turkey and cheese English muffins, cherry 7up and ice! I actually sprung out of bed one day this week because I was so excited that I remembered we had brown sugar pop tarts. I swear, this baby is her dad’s child. He has a constant sweet tooth and I hardly ever eat sweets. This is just so bizarre to me, haha!

Anything make you sick or queasy: Nope!

Labor signs: No!

What I miss: Now that I think of it, I really miss sushi.

Symptoms: Dry, itchy hands. I got this a lot with Everlee and now I have it again. Also, just super drained and exhausted, thirsty, hormonal breakouts, and still out of breath constantly.

Nursery: We won’t be setting up her nursery until we move to Alaska so I should probably just take this question out.

Belly button in or out: In!

Wedding rings on or off: On!

Mood: So happy and grateful!
